Wisps Of Wool Retreats
At sunset, when the work is laid down and the land exhales,
a different rhythm begins.
The Evening Light Immersion at Wisps of Wool is a four-night
restorative experience for women ready to pause,
reconnect and return to themselves in the stillness of the Australian bush.
Unhurried. Intentional. Held.
For the Woman Who Has Given Everything
You've held the world together for so long, you've forgotten what it feels like to be held yourself.
The weight of everyone's needs while your own whisper grows quieter each day. You're not broken, you're simply carrying more than anyone's soul was meant to bear.
I understand this particular type of exhaustion. After years of my own life experience, I recognise the particular weariness that comes with midlife transitions, unexpected trauma, and the slow burn of putting yourself last.
Evening Light Immersion at Wisps of Wool Retreat wasn't built for those seeking adventure or stimulation. It was created for you, the woman who needs permission to rest without guilt, to breathe without agenda, to simply exist without performing.
Here, in the gentle bush, the rhythm of country life envelopes you while you remember who you are beneath all that you've carried. Unhurried days amongst the whispering trees and birdsong, and the radical act of being witnessed without needing to be fixed.
Your stories will settle here in the evening light. Your spirit will remember its own rhythm. And perhaps, for the first time in years, you'll feel truly held by land that asks nothing of you except to be.
You are most welcome.
Lynn

A Private Women's Restorative Retreat in Regional Victoria

Wisps of Wool Retreat invites you to step away from overwhelm and into a calm, curated bushland sanctuary.
The Evening Light Immersion is not a busy retreat, nor is it a performance of wellness.
It is privacy, nourishment, and space.
The Invitation
If you are standing at a quiet threshold, not broken, simply weary,
This may be your moment.
Three women, four nights, unhurried, intentional and fully held.
Begin with an enquiry, and we will take the next step.
"A short, no-obligation call to explore whether the Evening Light Immersion feels right for you."

What Is Included
-
Four nights of exclusive accommodation at Wisps of Wool Retreat, where the entire place exists solely for you and the two women beside you. No shared spaces to navigate with strangers. No performance required from the moment you arrive.
-
A private Threshold Conversation with Lynn before you arrive, so you don't step through the door as a stranger to this place or to yourself. You arrive already held, already known.
-
All meals are thoughtfully prepared and provided by Veronica and Sarah of Fuzion Café, using seasonal, wholesome ingredients. Because sitting down to a table where someone else has done the thinking, the shopping, and the preparing is, for many women, the first moment they realise how long they have been last on their own list.
-
Three professional wellness practitioners, each a specialist in midlife women's health, brought to you so you never have to book, organise, or go anywhere. A massage therapist, a sound healing practitioner, and a breathwork facilitator, each one woven into the fabric of your four nights, because genuine restoration works on the body, the nervous system, and the breath together.
-
The heated magnesium plunge pool, where women slip in at dusk and feel the particular relief of a body finally permitted to let go.
-
A private Zen room for massage, meditation, and restoration, where the outside world recedes entirely, and the only thing asked of you is that you receive.
-
Access to the land itself, the paddocks, the native trees, the open sky, and 300 metres from the Murray River and bushland, because sometimes the most profound restoration doesn't happen in a room at all, but beneath a very large sky.
-
Your Afterlight Continuum Collection, carefully curated items chosen to travel home with you, so the care you experienced here continues gently into the ordinary days that follow.
-
The Afterlight Sessions, three intimate Zoom gatherings over the six weeks after you leave, because re-entry is its own tender moment, and you deserve to be held through that too, in the company of the women who sat beside you at the table and walked the paddocks with you at dusk.
No rushing. No over-scheduling. No decision fatigue.

"I needed to relax and step away from stress.
I had been under pressure mentally for some time, and Evening Light Immersion was where I finally found what I was looking for.
The moment I drove in through the gate and saw the building and surroundings, something in me began to soften.
The birds singing, the breeze in the trees, the peace of the whole place, and the sound healing in particular moved me deeply.
All of it was so comfortable, and every need was catered for. It was absolutely heavenly.
What surprised me most was the gentleness of the whole place.
I left rejuvenated, relaxed, and fulfilled, taking home something I hadn't expected to find: the quiet in my mind.
Yes, absolutely, it helped me reconnect with myself.
There was nothing to change or improve.
It was perfect."

The Experience
At Wisps of Wool, wellness is not a program to follow, but a feeling to return to.
A slowing, a softening, a quiet reconnection to yourself, to nature, and to the rhythm of the day. Across your time here, you are gently invited into a small number of carefully chosen experiences, each offered with care, and always optional.
There is no expectation to participate. Instead, these offerings are woven lightly through the days, allowing you to follow what feels right for you in the moment.
Each experience is designed to build upon the day before. Rest, balance, and a sense of ease. It is curated with a small circle of trusted local practitioners. Women supporting women.

Massage with Kat Robinson
Kat Robinson is a local therapist with 20 years of hands-on experience whose practice is built largely through word of mouth, a quiet reflection of the trust she holds in her community.
Your one-hour treatment gives you space to release, to rest, and to gently return to yourself.
Breathwork with Yakoa Yoga
Christy and Carly of Yakoa Yoga bring a gentle breathwork experience grounded in community, place, and connection.
Together they create a calm, supportive space to settle your nervous system and return to yourself, in your own time and in your own way.

Sound Bath Meditation with Karen Varell
Karen Varell is a sound healing practitioner and qualified meditation teacher who has dedicated her work to helping people slow down and reconnect with inner calm.
During your session, layered sound frequencies from crystal bowls support a shift into deeper rest, a more regulated nervous system, and a natural recalibration.
There is nothing to do. Nowhere to be. Just a moment to pause and receive.
Food at the Evening Light Immersion is simple, beautiful, and quietly nourishing.
Meals are thoughtfully prepared by Veronica and Sarah of Fuzion Café using seasonal, wholesome ingredients that nourish without heaviness.
Alongside your meals, you'll find beautiful snacks, beverages, and grazing elements, quietly present throughout your stay.
Nothing is rushed. In a world where so much is consumed quickly, these meals become moments to pause, a chance to reconnect with the simple pleasure of eating well.
Why Restorative Retreats Matter
Burnout among capable, giving women is not rare anymore. It is ordinary. And what is increasingly difficult to find is not another program or schedule, but genuine uninterrupted stillness. Four unhurried nights in the quiet of the bush can shift something that months of ordinary life cannot reach.
Who This Is For
You are a woman who has spent years being genuinely good at caring for others, and somewhere along the way, forgot to put yourself on the list.
You may be navigating a transition that nobody around you fully understands.
A career that no longer fits the woman you've become.
A relationship that has shifted.
A body asking to be listened to differently.
A quiet knowing that something needs to change, even if you can't yet name what.
You don't need to arrive with clarity. You only need to feel the pull.
Evening Light Immersion was created for you.
"I arrived tired, with tight neck and shoulder muscles, hoping for a relaxing, peaceful experience with friends.
From the moment I caught sight of the green lawn, the gum trees, and the sunshine through the rustic timber deck, something in me began to soften.
I loved the sound chimes, the massage, the breathwork, all of it.
Every experience was deeply relaxing, and I felt emotionally safe, cared for, and very much held throughout my stay.
The warm fire, the soft lighting, the roomy spaces, the birdsong, and Veronica's delicious food, all of it was terrific. Nothing needed changing.
I'm leaving very relaxed and happy, with a renewed appreciation for my life and a genuine feeling of gratitude for my own experiences.
Evening Light Immersion helped me reconnect with myself in a way I didn't expect.
Restorative, calming, nourishing, healing, grounding, transformative, inspiring, peaceful, and luxurious in a meaningful way. Every single one of those words felt true."

A Different Pace
-
Four nights: Sunday afternoon arrival - Thursday morning departure
-
This rhythm allows the nervous system time to settle. When the schedule softens, mental noise quiets. Decisions become cleaner. Creativity returns. Perspective widens. Women often rediscover their own voice when the external pace stops dictating it.
-
Gentle movement if that's what your body asks for, nature immersion, unhurried meals, magnesium water, quiet mornings. The body begins to be experienced as an ally again, rather than a problem to fix.
-
Located in Torrumbarry near Echuca Moama, just 2.5 hours from Melbourne, offering bushland seclusion without isolation.
-
You might choose to begin your stay with a relaxing train journey from Melbourne to Echuca, where you’ll be warmly met on arrival. From the moment you step onto the train, your immersion quietly begins, nothing further required of you but to settle in and let the rhythm of the journey carry you here.
-
Thoughtfully prepared, so that arrival is the only thing asked of you.

Accommodation Options
& Investment
Evening Light Immersion holds just three women at a time, and each room has been considered for the particular kind of woman who might need it most. Choose the space that calls to you.
*Founding rates, offered only for the first three immersions
THE VERANDA SUITE
*Investment: $2,800 per person
Your own private end of the house, where full glass doors open directly onto the veranda and the paddocks beyond, so that the boundary between inside and outside softens and the land feels like an extension of the room itself. A walk-in robe, a private ensuite, and an outdoor bath under the open sky — where you can lie in warm water at night and watch the stars emerge above ancient country in the particular silence that exists when there is truly nowhere else you need to be. This is the room for the woman who knows that genuine solitude is not loneliness but the deepest form of rest, and who wants a space that is entirely, uncompromisingly her own.
The Veranda Room
*Investment: $2,650 per person
A generous, light-filled room with full glass doors that open onto the veranda, so that your first breath of every morning carries the cool air of the bush and the quality of light that makes this country so quietly extraordinary. Built-in robes, thoughtful detailing, and a modern bathroom shared with just one other woman — because at Evening Light Immersion there are only ever three of you, and that intimacy extends into every corner of the house. This is the room for the woman who is drawn to openness, to the feeling of light moving through a space, and to the kind of quiet luxury that doesn't announce itself but simply makes everything feel considered and right.

The Treetop Room
*Investment: $2,550
A quietly secluded room where a high horizontal window frames the treetops like a living painting, so that what you wake to each morning is not a ceiling or a wall but the gentle movement of leaves against sky, a reminder that the natural world is doing its unhurried work just beyond the glass. Built-in robes, thoughtful detailing, and a modern bathroom shared with just one other woman — because here, even the shared spaces hold only the lightest footprint of other presence. This is the room for the woman who finds her deepest rest in stillness and seclusion, who doesn't need to see the horizon to feel held by the land, and who understands that sometimes the most restorative view is the quiet one.

*A FOUNDING INVITATION
The 14 - 18 June Evening Light Immersion is offered at a special introductory investment, extended to the women who arrive first, as this experience takes its first breath.
This founding rate is offered in genuine exchange for your honest reflection and feedback, because the most meaningful experiences are not built in isolation, but in real relationships with the women they are created to serve. Your voice, your experience, and your truth will shape every immersion that follows.
Future immersions will be priced to reflect the full value of what unfolds here, the land, the practitioners, the care,
and the four nights of being genuinely, unhurriedly held. If you feel the call, this is the moment to answer it... a gentle conversation is always where it begins.
GENTLE PATHWAYS TO EVENING LIGHT
For the woman who feels the call to Evening Light Immersion but needs her investment to unfold gently, we offer a pathway that honours both your needs and ours.
How it flows:
A $500 deposit to easily hold your place, followed by two equal remaining payments flowing 30 days apart, with the final payment settling 14 days before you arrive, allowing you to step fully into anticipation rather than administration.
For women booking with less than two months' notice, two equal payments of the remaining balance apply, with the final payment due 14 days before arrival.
And for the woman who needs a little more space between payments, a quiet conversation is always welcome. Sometimes the heart knows what practical timelines cannot hold, and we honour that knowing when it feels true.
FUTURE IMMERSIONS
The next three Evening Light Immersions will be announced soon, each offered at the founding rate in genuine exchange for honest reflection and feedback as this experience finds its rhythm.
These founding places are limited and will not be offered beyond the first three immersions.
If you feel the pull but June isn't your season, joining the waitlist means you'll be among the first to know when new dates are whispered into being.
Because Lynn personally prepares and facilitates every immersion, only a handful are offered each season, preserving the quiet, sacred intimacy of what unfolds here and ensuring that what she brings to each woman remains unhurried, whole, and entirely her own.
Lynn knows this terrain from the inside, having lived the particular exhaustion that brings women to Evening Light Immersion. She understands that walking the talk is not just a commitment to the women she holds but a commitment to herself, because a woman who has finally learned to put herself first cannot, in good conscience, stop doing so.

From the moment I was welcomed at the front gate, something shifted. I felt grateful simply to be there, and that feeling stayed with me the entire time.
What surprised me most was how peaceful and homely everything felt.
