Wisps Of Wool Retreats

At sunset, when the work is laid down and the land exhales,
a different rhythm begins.
The Evening Light Immersion at Wisps of Wool is a four-night
restorative experience for women ready to soften,
reconnect and return to themselves in the stillness of the Australian bush.

Unhurried. Intentional. Held.

A Private Women's Restorative Retreat in Regional Victoria

Wisps of Wool Retreat invites you to step away from overwhelm and into a calm, curated bushland sanctuary designed to restore body, mind, and nervous system.

The Evening Light Immersion is a four-night restorative retreat for women

who carry responsibility with strength, and are ready, for a while, to lay it down.

This is not a busy retreat, nor is it a performance of wellness.

It is privacy.
It is nourishment.
It is space.

The Invitation

If you are standing at a quiet threshold, not broken, simply weary,

This may be your moment.

Three women, four nights, unhurried, intentional and fully held.

Begin with an enquiry, and we will take the next step.

"A short, no-obligation call to explore whether the Evening Light Immersion feels right for you."

No rushing. No over-scheduling.  No decision fatigue.

Wellness & Experiences

At Wisps of Wool, wellness is not a program to follow, but a feeling to return to.

A slowing. A softening. A quiet reconnection to yourself, to nature, and to the rhythm of the day.

During your stay, you are invited to experience a daily, complimentary wellness offering, mindfully arranged with a small circle of trusted local practitioners.

Each experience is optional, allowing you to follow what feels right for you in the moment.

Offerings may include gentle breathwork, meditation, massage, sound or energy-based sessions, each designed to support rest, balance, and a sense of ease.

These experiences are curated with care and tailored to each stay, with final details shared before your arrival.

A Gentle Invitation

There is nothing you need to do here.

You may choose to begin your morning in stillness, join Lynn for a guided walking meditation to the river or sit with a cup of tea and watch the light move across the paddocks.

This is your time, your space, your pace.

Food at the Evening Light Immersion is simple, beautiful, and quietly nourishing.

It is not about excess or complexity, but about care.

Meals are thoughtfully prepared using seasonal, wholesome ingredients, designed to support the body gently and restore energy without heaviness.

Where possible, this also includes supporting local producers and a much-loved, female-run business within the community, someone who cares deeply for those around her and brings that same care into the food she creates.

There is time to sit, to taste, and to enjoy.

Nothing is rushed.

In a world where so much is consumed quickly, these meals become moments of pause, a chance to reconnect with the simple pleasure of eating well.

Why Restorative Retreats Matter

  • Burnout is no longer rare. It is common among capable women who give consistently to careers, families, and communities.

  • Restorative retreats in regional Victoria offer something increasingly difficult to find: Silence, perspective, uninterrupted time.

  • Four unhurried nights can shift how you return to your life.

Who This Is For

  • Women 45+

  • Professionals, caregivers, leaders

  • Women navigating transition, burnout or reinvention

  • Friends seeking intentional time together

A Different Pace

  • Four nights: Sunday afternoon arrival - Thursday morning departure

  • This rhythm allows the nervous system time to settle. When the schedule softens, mental noise quiets. Decisions become cleaner. Creativity returns. Perspective widens. Women often rediscover their own voice when the external pace stops dictating it.

  • Gentle movement if that's what your body asks for, nature immersion, unhurried meals, magnesium water, quiet mornings. The body begins to be experienced as an ally again, rather than a problem to fix.

  • Located in Torrumbarry near Echuca Moama, just 2.5 hours from Melbourne, offering bushland seclusion without isolation.

  • You might choose to begin your stay with a relaxing train journey from Melbourne to Echuca, where you’ll be warmly met on arrival. From the moment you step onto the train, your immersion quietly begins, nothing further required of you but to settle in and let the rhythm of the journey carry you here.

  • Thoughtfully prepared, so that arrival is the only thing asked of you.

For the Woman Who Has Given Everything

You've held the world together for so long, you've forgotten what it feels like to be held yourself.

The endless giving. The constant noise. The weight of everyone else's needs while your own whisper grows quieter each day. You're not broken, you're simply carrying more than anyone's soul was meant to bear.

Lynn understands this particular type of exhaustion. After years of her own life experience, she recognises the particular weariness that comes with midlife transitions, unexpected trauma, and the slow burn of putting yourself last.

Evening Light Immersion at Wisps of Wool Retreat wasn't built for those seeking adventure or stimulation. It was created for you, the woman who needs permission to rest without guilt, to breathe without agenda, to simply exist without performing.

Here, in the gentle bush, you may find what you've been searching for: a soft relief. A place where your nervous system can finally exhale amongst the gum trees and open air. Where the rhythm of country life envelopes you while you remember who you are beneath all that you've carried.

This is not therapy disguised as a retreat. This is pure sanctuary, thoughtful hosting, unhurried days amongst the whispering trees and birdsong, and the radical act of being witnessed without needing to be fixed.

Your stories will settle here in the evening light. Your spirit will remember its own rhythm. And perhaps, for the first time in years, you'll feel truly held by land that asks nothing of you except to be.

You are most welcome.

For the woman who feels the call to Evening Light Immersion but needs her investment to unfold gently, we offer a pathway that honours both your needs and ours.

How it flows:

  • $500 to tenderly hold your place in the immersion

  • Two equal remaining payments, flowing 30 days apart

  • Final payment settles 14 days before you arrive, allowing you to step fully into anticipation

For women booking with less than two months' notice: Two equal payments of the remaining balance, with the final payment due 14 days before arrival.

For the woman needing more space between payments: A quiet conversation about what might be possible. Sometimes the heart knows what practical timelines cannot hold, and we honour that knowing when it feels true.

FUTURE IMMERSIONS

Evening Light Immersion dates are revealed seasonally, typically 3 months in advance, guided by the rhythm of when they feel most needed. When announced, they fill quietly and quickly with the women meant to be there.

Join our waitlist to be among the first invited when new dates are whispered into being.

Lynn personally prepares and facilitates these immersions, so to protect her ability to keep them aligned to her vision and intentional, only a handful of Immersions are held each season, preserving the quiet, intimate nature of what unfolds here.
